Twitter Project

Write a short story on Twitter?!?  Sure, it’s probably been done before, but follow @fictionbrigade and see how we do it!  Read and learn:

1) One of us will write an opening tweet for a new story at the beginning of each week;

2) Anyone can add on to the story using the hashtag #ficbrig[insert number here] (please make sure and read the previous tweet before posting a new one);

3) Once we reach 1500 words or the end of the week (whichever comes first), we will end the story and post the new Twitter story on our site;

4) You will read it and laugh or cry, or maybe even both!

We hope this exercise will inspire ideas for your own flash fiction story, or at least provide some amount of enjoyment to your day. More importantly, we want to encourage you to write, write, write!

Vote in our forums for your favorite Twitter story before each new issue of Fiction Brigade comes out and we’ll include it in the magazine.
